Living the Scream: dark art exhibition coming in October

Living the Scream is a dark art popup event that will take place this Halloween in downtown Los Angeles. Besides the gallery, Living the Scream will include a photobooth, live SFX demos, side show performances, seances, a horror caricature artist, a tarot card reader, horror vendors, hearses, live and DJ music, food vendors, licensed bar tender, and film composer John Massari (Killer Klowns from Outer Space).

The event is open to all ages, though parental discretion is advised. Guests are encouraged to come in costume.

Living the Scream takes place on October 23, from 3pm to 11pm at Loft 1923. The address is 1515 Compton Avenue in Los Angeles, 90021. Free street parking is available.

Tickets are $7. Children under 12 get in free.
