Description: It’s time to take another trip on the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride – one of the most distinctive Halloween haunts in Los Angeles. For its fifth anniversary, the Hayride enhances the thrills by offering themes allegedly inspired by actual events.
There are three attractions: The In Between, an all-dark maze, with who knows what lurking in the shadows; the Purgatory Sideshow, with a house of mirrors, a scary-go-round, psychi readers, and live acts; and of course the showpiece of the vent, the Haunted Hayride itself, a half-hour tour of terror through the back woods of Griffith Park, featuring elaborate outdoor scenes unlike anything else in Los Angeles.
For Halloween 2013, the L.A. Haunted Hayride operates on October 4-6, 10-13, 17-20, 24-27, and 30-31. Hours are 7:00pm to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, 7:00pm to 10:00pm on weekdays.
Tickets are $30 for General Admission (including the Hayride and the Purgatory Sideshow); $39 for a Double Attraction Pass (which adds admission to the In Between Maze); $55 for VIP Admission (no waiting in line); $27 a piece for the General Admission Group Rate (20 or more); $36 for Group Rate Double Attraction Pass; $50 for Group Rate VIP Admission; and $1,325 for a Private Wago (up to 30 people).
There is a $5-discount with the purchase of any Ralph’s, Squirt, or Sunkist soft drink passage. The discount is available only at the box office, not in advance: one discount per person per receipt.
