Description: Six Flags Magic Mountain resurrects their annual Fright Fest. Unlike most Halloween theme park attractions, the Six Flags Magic Mountain Fright Fest does not require a separate admission; you can enter the park during daylight hours with a regular admission and stay to enjoy the night-time Halloween horrors (although you will need to pay extra for a wrist-band to enter the mazes).

Halloween 2013 features eight mazes. In addition to such returning attractions as Willoughby’s Resurrected, there will be three new walk-throughs: Toys of Terror; Total Darkness; Weepy Hills Insanetorium.

This year, Six Flags promises that the entirety of the Magic Mountain theme park will be haunted for Halloween, not just discrete areas as in years past. There are numerous scare zones and shows, such as City Under Siege, Gypsy Hollow, and The Wastelands. New this year are Demon’s Door, Zombie Xing, and Voodoo Nights; located in the midway, the latter promises a ghoulish dance party with DJs, dancers, and a light show.

And of course, the usual selection of roller-coaster rides will be open for business: Colossus Backwards, The Riddler’s Revenge, Viper, Apocalypse, and more.

Purchased at the gate, General Admission to Magic Mountain costs $67.99 for adults and $42.99 for children under four-feet tall; children under 2 are free. Purchased separate, maze passes are $15; Express Maze passes (to avoid the lines) are $30. There are discounts for Season Passholders, available only at the gate.

Advance ticket sales are considerably cheaper. General Admission with a maze pass starts at $50.99. Upgrade to General Admission with an Express Maze Pass, starting at $70.99.

There is also a “Fright Feast with the Willoughby’s,” which provides dinner from 5pm to 6:30pm, for prices starting at $19.99.
