New Beverly goes all-in for Halloween 2021

For years, the New Beverly Cinema has celebrated Halloween with midnight movies, matinees, and an all-night horrorthon while presenting their usual repertory style schedule in the evenings; for October 2021, however, their schedule is loaded with horror titles seven days a week.

Titles include Carrie, From Dusk Till Dawn, House, Shaun of the Dead an adults-only screening of the X-rated Dracula Sucks, Def by Temptation, Race with the Devil Little Shop of Horrors (1986), and Seven. Notable double bills include Phantom of the Paradise/Suspiria, Eyes without a Face/Mad Love, House on Haunted Hill/13 Ghosts, plus a triple bill of Inner Sanctum Mysteries from the 1940: Calling Dr. Death, Weird Woman, and The Frozen Ghost.

Matinees will offer mostly lighter fare: Killer Klowns from Outer Space, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, Fire in the Sky, The Faculty, Mad Monster Party, Attack the Block, Beetlejuice, and The Monster Squad (pictured at top).

The all-night Fright-a-Thon, which takes place at 7pm on October 23, is sold out.

Evening screenings start at 7pm unless otherwise noted. Matinee screenings start at 2pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Midnight movies screen on Fridays and Saturdays.

New Beverly is at 7165 Beverly Boulevard in the Fairfax District. You can find their complete schedule here.
