New Beverly: All-Night Horror Show & Universal Horror Classics in October

The New Beverly Cinema has yet to publish its complete calendar for October, but they have announced the annual All-Night Horror Show and a series devoted to Universal Horror Classics on Wednesday afternoons.

The All-Night Horror show takes place on October 7, starting at 7:30pm. The 12-hour marathon features six movies, trailers, and cartoons. Titles are not revealed in advance, so this is a mystery adventure for fans of cult horror and cinema schlock. There will be special giveaways for everyone who makes it to the end of the marathon.

Tickets go on sale Sunday, October 1 at noon. Tickets will sell out. There will be no stand-by seating on the night of the event, so if you want to go, you need to purchase online. There is a limit of four tickets per person. The price is $30.

Universal Horror Classics begin screening on Wednesday witn a double bill of Dracula (1931) and Dracula’s Daughter (1936). Tickets are $8. No word yet on which other titles will follow, but if you are a fan of these black-and-white horror films from the 1930s and ’40s, you can probably guess.
