New for Halloween 2017: Horror Rewind

As a promotional tie-in with new DVD and Blu-ray releases of horror titles from the 20th Century Fox back catalogue, the Hollywood Studio is presenting a new event for Halloween 2017: Horror Rewind. The premise is that a horror fanatic has has brought some of his favorite movies to life in his lair, somewhere within the Los Angeles Arts District. Innocent victims, trapped inside, must recreate scenes from The Fly, The Hills Have Eyes, 28 Days Later, and Carrie. The immersive Halloween haunt is produced by The Great Company in collaboration with the creators of Delusion: A Haunted Play.

Outside the event, 19 Blu-rays featuring collectible cover designs by artist Orlando Arocena will be for sale, along with limited edition posters of Arocena’s work as a gift with purchase, while supplies last.

Horror Rewind takes place on October 13 through 15 at an undisclosed location in downtown L.A. (address given with ticket). Admission is free, but advance tickets are recommended, to insure entry. Register at: eventbrite.com.
