Night of the Living ’80s: A New Wave of Horror

The American Cineatheque presents this three-week series of horror films from the 1980s, including such camp, cult, and classic titles as The Howling, Re-Animator, Return of the Living Dead, The Thing, and The Blob. Many of the screenings will include discussions with cast and crew, including Joe Dante, Stuart Gordon, Brian Yuzna, Larry Cohen, Peter Medak, Tom Holland, and William Lustig.

The series runs from July 30 through August 19. All screenings take place at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. Check the individual listings below for more information.
