No "Voices of Pioneer Cemetery Flashlight Tour" for 2011

Bad news, fright fans: the Voices of Pioneer Cemetery Flashlight Ghost Tour, whose debut we rather enjoyed last Halloween, will not be back for 2011.  A series of monologues, with actors giving voice to those interred in Pioneer Cemetery, this graveyard tour was designed to benefit the cemetery (raising money to find/identify some of the old graves). With this goal accomplished, the San Fernando Valley Historical Society decided not to stage the play this year, although it may be resurrected in the future, perhaps in association with Day of the Dead.
