I wrote about the opening night reception for the "Performance" exhibition at Drkrm Gallery last month - a collection of rare and seldom scene photographs from PERFORMANCE, starring Mick Jaffer, and THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH, starring David Bowie. Now, at long last, here's a video of the event, which shows off some of the best photographs on display.
In case the video sparks your interest, it's not too late to see the exhbition in person - it continues through February 24.
PERFORMANCE isn't really a genre film, but THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH fits quite nicely into the sci-fi niche, so genre fans will find something worth seeing. In any case, both films are so strange and unusual that cult movie fans and cinefiles should find the exhibition worth a visit.
