Peripheral Horror in The Nun

Saw The Nun (2018) today – not a great film but more fun than expected. What made it worth seeing was the new ScreenX presentation, which puts the audience literally in the middle of the action by turning the left and right walls of the theatre into additional screens, creating an amazing immersive experience thanks to the imagery filling one’s peripheral vision. If you’re planning to see the film, ScreenX is definitely the way to go, but your options are limited. The only Los Angeles theatre showing The Nun in ScreenX is the CGV Cinemas LA on Western Avenue in Korea Town; after that, the next closest venue is  CGV Cinemas Buena Park 8.
