    • As usual, our favorite cafe in the galaxy, Nova Express, is having a bunch of interesting live events this week. There’s live music tonight. The movie THE DAY IT CAME TO EARTH screens tomorrow. DJ Mephisto spins tunes on Friday.

    But the event that makes it worthwhile to post here is a Tuesday night Halloween party called “Poe Meets Mars,” which promises “art, creepy sci-fi music…and lots of ridiculous Halloween decorations!”

    The event runs from 8:00pm to 3:00am, October 31.
