Queen Mary to relaunch Ghosts and Legends

The Queen Mary has announced that they will launch a “newly-intensified” and “re-imagined” Ghosts and Legends Haunted Experience. Formerly known as “Ghosts & Legends of the Queen Mary,” the refurbished version of the interactive, immersive haunted attraction will illustrate tales based on the ship’s alleged paranormal activity.  Thirty guests per tour will experience “all-new special effects,” including a tesla coil, fog projections, and computer-generated spirits. Guests will be given flashlights to see in the darkness – but they may not be reliable. Select guests will be able to use hand-held ghost-tracking tablets to ferret out the invisible inhabitants.

The year-round Ghosts and Legends Haunted Experience opens on Friday, November 10*, with daily tours starting at 11:00 am and running every 30 minutes. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children. For more information, including hours or to purchase tickets online, visit queenmary.com.

The Queen Mary offers several year-round attractions based on the ship’s haunted history, including Dining with the Spirits, Paranormal Investigation, and Paranormal Shipwalk. Also, the annual Queen Mary Dark Harbor Halloween event is currently running.

*The previously announced opening on Friday, October 13 was pushed back, first to October 20, then November 10.
