Ready Or Not (Green Band Trailer)

Green Band trailer (i.e., minus the gore) for Fox Searchlight Pictures’ black-comedy horror film, Ready or Not, starring Samara Weaving, Adam Brody, Mark O’Brien, Henry Czerny, and Andie MacDowell. Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin directed from a script by Guy Busick & Ryan Murphy. The story involves a young bride (Samara Weaving) as she joins her new husband’s (Mark O’Brien) rich, eccentric family (Adam Brody, Henry Czerny, Andie MacDowell) in a time-honored tradition that turns into a lethal game with everyone fighting for their survival. Sounds a bit like The Most Dangerous Game spliced with Get Out featuring a white woman instead of a black man.

Release Date: August 21, 2019.

According to Fox Searchlight Presidents of Production Matthew Greenfield and David Greenbaum (as quoted in the press release), Ready or Not is a horror film with a “sly sense of humor…that will leave you terrified, but with a smile on your face.” Judging from the trailer, they could be correct.
