Fantasy classics at Regency’s Flashback Tuesday

If you enjoy classic fantasy films you live close to a Regency Theatre, you are in luck. The chain presents a series called Flashback Tuesday, which screens classic movies at the Academy 6 in Pasadean, the Granada Hills 9 in Granada Hills, Buenaventura 6 in Ventura, and the BLVD Cinemas in Lancaster.

The series is not exclusively dedicated to the fantasy genre, but since it’s the Christmas season they will be screening Frank Capra’s 1947 classic, It’s a Wonderful Life on December 19. After the new year rolls around, other scheduled fantasy and science fiction titles include Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on January 2, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King on January 9, and Blade Runner on January 16.
