Reminder: American Cinametheque presents Grand Master – The Films of Stanley Kubrick

Just in case you forgot to mark you calendars when we mentioned this a  few weeks ago: The American Cinematheque presents this three-day tribute to Stanley Kubrick, featuring some of his best work in the science fiction and horror genres: 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, THE SHINING, and a double-bill of two sci-fi themed nightmares, A CLOCKWORK ORANGE and DR. STRANGELOVE, OR HOW I LEARNED TO STOP WORRYING AND LOVE THE BOMB. (The non-genre BARRY LYNDON will also be screened.) The series runs from Thursday, September 17 through Sunday, September 20. You don’t want to miss this one, no matter how many times you have seen the films before.

Here is the schedule of science fiction and horror titles that will be screened as part of the Grand Master series:

Title: 2001: A Space Odyssey
Location: The 1968 masterpiece of science fiction – the ultimate trip – screens launches the series.
