Reminder: More Los Angeles Halloween Events begin this weekend
Halloween really heats up this weekend. Things kicked off the last week of September with Knotts Scary Farm, Old Town Haunt, and a few others; now that October has arrived, more of the major Halloween events in Los Angeles are rolling out their big guns. As always, we recommend that you take advantage of these opening weekends, when lines are typically shorter and ticket prices are usually lower. If you put things off, you will have only yourself to blame when the end of the month rolls around and you realize how much you will be missing because you cannot squeeze it into one last week.Â
Of this weekend’s debuts, our sights are set on Universal Studios, the Queen Mary, and the L.A. Haunted Hayride. The latter is a brand new Halloween event in Los Angeles. The Queen Mary’s Shipwreck is under new management, with props and sets purchased from the now-defunct Spooky House. And Universal has revamped its Halloween attraction, adding new mazes based on SAW, MY BLOOD VALENTINE 3D, HALLOWEEN, and CHILD’S PLAY.
