SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration offers enough holiday themed activities to warrant spending an entire day there especially if you have a family.   Aside from festive holiday boutiques found at the Holly Jolly Marketplace and the Christmas Shoppe, Santa’s Village offers photos to purchase and other exclusive souvenirs and gifts at the vendor booths.  Holiday themed cocktails, beverages and foods are also available all throughout the park .  It is hard not to see the food stands that sell these.  Enjoy these photos with a full review.  SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration goes on until January 8th!  

SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration 2022 Review: Shows and Performances

The shows and performances were plentiful and located also all throughout the park.  If you are into music, you can catch “America’s Got Talent” Favorite Bryan Cheatham’s Stocking Full of Soul show, Holiday Brass and The Holly Pops and Holiday Hipsters.  You can see Mrs. Claus multiple times a day during her Christmas Cavalcade.  Donner and Blitzen’s Lazer Light Show gives you the electronic dance music/club feel without having to be in one.  This is located at the entrance right after you pass the ticket checkpoint.  It was easy to confuse the show to be where Santa’s Reindeer are located.  And yes, there are live reindeer located in Santa’s Village, just right across the way from Santa’s Cottage.  We saved the best shows for last: A Joyous Celebration and A Christmas Wish Fireworks Show.  In A Joyous Celebration, guests are treated to a whimsical song and dance show that’s guaranteed to put you in the mood and uplift spirits.  At A Christmas Wish, guests are treated to a 10 minute firework spectacular visible from pretty much all areas of the park.  However, for an optimal audio experience, you’ll hear the speakers towards the front of the park.

SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration 2022 Review: Holiday Lights and Photo Ops

The lights, a main reason for many to visit, were a spectacle.  Though some dark areas were seen, the majority of the theme park featured holiday lights to some degree.  Where Rudolph’s Christmastown was located; you would find blue and white light mixed in with Hannukah props and photo ops.  Plenty of photo ops in this section as well starring Rudolph and characters from the hit movie.  Throughout the park, you could find giant ornaments or Christmas objects for your photos.  To find these, just look for the stuff that glows!  Of course there is the tunnel of lights which is a mainstay at SeaWorld where you can walk through as it changes into Christmas colors.  The best lights of all is of course the tree lighting.  The tree lighting is located at Rudolph’s Christmastown.  However, if you are in other areas of the park and want to see a “tree” being lit; just look up to find the Sky Tower which features lights in the shape of a Christmas tree.  (See photos for reference)

SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration 2022 Review: Conclusion

Aside from festive shopping, music and dance, performances and holiday lights; there is a Reindeer Round-Up Scavenger Hunt for kids of all ages to participate in.  Spread throughout the park are gifts for Santa’s reindeer; you can purchase a map and partake in this interactive game.  Also with the normal daytime park activities remaining open; you do get a lot of value for your money here as you will likely not run out of things to do.  The great thing is that SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration runs past Christmas and New Year’s Day.
