Sinister Sundays coming to Silent Movie Theatre

The Cinefamily has just announced “Sinister Sundays,” a three-week program at the Silent Movie Theatre in August, consisting of films that inspired the creators of Sinister 2 (which opens August 21).

The series consists of Ring* on August 9; Let the Right One In on August 16, and Sinister on August 23. All screenings are scheduled for 10pm, though the theatre’s official website warns that showtimes may be subject to change.

The feature films will be preceded by “exclusive content from the makers of Sinister 2.”

Tickets are free, while supplies last.

  • The Cinefamily promotional mateirals lists the title as “The Ring,” which suggests the Americanized remake, but the website clearly shows credits and trailer for the Japanese original, known here as “Ring” or “Ringu.”
