Sunset Boulevard coming to Egyptian

The American Cinematheque launches its 10th anniversary celebration of the re-opening of the Egyptian theatre with this classic film from Billy Wilder, starring William Holden as a screenwriter who falls into the clutches of a former silent movie star (Gloria Swanson). Although not considered a horror film, the movie is steeped in horror imagery, with Swanson’s character essentially a vampire sucking off the young man’s vitality.
