The New Hollywood Gothique

Well, if you have eyes to see, then you have noticed there is something new in the old graveyard. No, that’s not quite right; rather, let’s say that the old graves have been moved into a new graveyard. Yes, that metaphor works much better, because the bodies herein interred remain the same; what has changed is the surroundings, the decor. In short, we have migrated our content to a brand new website, which is much more flexible and responsive – hopefully enabling you to find what you are looking for much more easily.

We are still covering Fantasy Films, Mystery Movies, Sci-Fi Cinema, and Halloween Horror Events in Los Angeles, but the new website should make organization much more useful, so that you can find the specific type of events you seek – whether screenings of old horror movies, concerts of creepy classical music, or theme parks gearing up for Halloween.

The new Event Calendar is much more useful, providing all the information you need – including a Google map, so you can easily find the location of the event – and new plug-ins and widgets have enabled us to provide a much more user-friendly listing of Halloween Haunts, including a Halloween Haunts Master List that alphabetically sorts everything that might previously have been shunted off into various subcategories (for Halloween theme parks and Halloween Home Haunts, for example). Hopefully, this will make it much more easier for visitors to browse until they find something that interests them.

Unfortunately, the behind-the-scenes tinkering with the website has cut down on the time we devote to posting updates on future events, but we promise to catch up soon. Halloween is fast approaching, and we intend to be ready.
