Things are brewing at Hollywood Gothique

Thanks to Covid-19, there has been little to post about recently; nevertheless, there are some things brewing behind the scenes at Hollywood Gothique. Best news is we recently licensed broadcast rights to one of our old Halloween videos; unfortunately, we can’t say more until an official announcement is made, hopefully in September.

Meanwhile, we are diligently working behind the scenes on our website, replacing outdated plugins with more up-to-date versions that should improve functionality. This will enable us to do a better job of embedding posts into pages so that, for example, if you were visiting our page devoted to Knott’s Berry Farm Halloween Haunt, you will easily see thumbnails and links to the most recent reviews, photos, and videos.

We’re also reorganizing our listings of Halloween events to include pages for Halloween Cinema and Halloween Theatre. Sadly, we don’t expect many of these Halloween haunts to be open in October, so new information on these pages will be slim this season. However, these are changes we have wanted to do for a while, and now is a good time to implement them, since there is little else to keep us busy.

Hopefully, when the reorganization is over, we can post some retrospective videos to help us all get the Halloween fix we won’t be receiving from live events this year.
