For the Halloween season, Dearly Departed Tours and Museum presented a Horror Film Location Tour, which visits filming sites for Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), Zombieland, Scream 2 (1997), Michael Jackson’s Thriller (1982), Ed Wood (1994), A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), Drag Me to Hell (2009), and both John Carpenter’s and Rob Zombie’s versions of Halloween. The guide wears a Michael Myers costume, allowing tourists to recreate scenes for photo ops.

The Dearly Departed Horror Film Location Tour ran for a limited time every October and usually sold out.

Dearly Departed Tours and Museum also presented year-round multimedia bus tours exploring the dark side of Hollywood (The Tragical History Tour, Helter Skelter Tour, etc).
