Trailer: Guardians of the Galaxy 3 opening weekend & marathon at El Capitan
Disney’s El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood will present a Guardians of the Galaxy marathon on Wednesday, May 3 at 7pm, followed by fan event screenings of Part 3 on Thursday and Friday. The former includes all three films in the franchise; the latter includes exclusive merchandise with the purchase of a ticket. All three presentations will include DJ music. Afterwards, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will continue at El Capitan through May 21. There be a display of costumes throughout the engagement, which and fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite characters.
Guardians of the Galaxy 3Â officially opens in theatres nationwide on Friday, May 5, including numerous engagements around Los Angeles in standard format, Digital 3D, and IMAX 3D.

The El Capitan Theatre is offering a three-movie marathon and two fan event screenings for Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.” The events will be hosted by Nerdist. All tickets for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” are on sale now.
The marathon will start at 7:00pm on Wednesday, May 3. Tickets are $75 and include a snap back bat, mini poster, collectible tin with unlimited popcorn, event credential, snack and two beverages. Guests attending this event will be among the first to see “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” after watching “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1” and “Vol. 2.”
The fan event screenings will take place at 7:00pm on Thursday, May 4 and Friday, May 5 each with their own exclusive items included with a ticket. Each fan event screening costs $50.

- Attendees at the Thursday Fan Event will receive one assorted Funko Pop, mini poster, collectible tin with popcorn, event credential and a beverage with their ticket.
- Attendees at the Friday Fan Event will receive a Milky Fizz beverage sipper, collectible tin with popcorn, event credential and a beverage with their ticket.
Moviegoers should bring their best moves for out-of-this-world tunes played by the theatre’s DJ live May 4 through 7. Fans are encouraged to cosplay as their favorite Marvel characters throughout the movie’s run.
Daily showtimes for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” May 6 through May 21 are 11:30am, 3:15pm, 7:00pm and 10:55pm. 3:15pm screenings are shown in 3D. Dates and showtimes are subject to change.
Guests are invited to arrive early to view a display of costumes from “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.”
