Trailer: The Birds (1963)

Checking over the "Arclight Presents" schedule for September, we note that Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds will be playing at the Arclight Culver City on September 20 at 7pm. Whether or not you can take advantage of this opportunity to see the horrifying classic on the big screen, you will enjoy watching the trailer, directed by Hitchock himself.

Amusingly, the trailer does something the film does not: provide an explanation for our fine feathered freinds' sudden and apparently inexplicable attack upon humanity. As Hitchcock addresses the camera, talking about the history of humanity's interaction with birds, he "inadvertently" shows several reasons birds might want to take revenge upon us.
