Trailer: The New Mutants (2020)

Trailer for The New Mutants, an X-Men spin-off described as a “superhero horror film” (which would have been a new thing if Brightburn had not reached theatres first. 20th Century Fox had scheduled 2019 release before pushing the date back to April 3, 2020 – the extra time reportedly used for re-shoots to make it scarier. With five young mutants locked in a mental facility, the film combines elements of A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, The Breakfast Club, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and The Shining. Josh Boone directed from a script he co-wrote with Knate Lee. Simon Kinberg, Karen Rosenfelt, and Lauren Shuler Donner produced.

Update: 20th Century Fox has temporarily blocked the trailer, even though they had made it available for media outlets to use. We have filed a dispute with YouTube. It is possible that Fox changed their policy regarding the trailer since the film’s release date was pushed back to next year.
