Trailer: Wicked
Universal Pictures releases this film adaptation of the Broadway musical on November 20, with engagements in IMAX and 3D. Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, the story follows Elphaba, explaining how she became the Wicked Witch of the West whom Dorothy met in The Wizard of Oz. Jon M. Chu directed from a screenplay by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox. Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, and Jonathan Bailey head the cast, with Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum in supporting roles.
