Universal Monsters: Legends Collide coming to Halloween Horror Nights

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood has teased its first attraction for Halloween 2022: a new maze title “Universal Monsters: Legends Collide,” featuring Dracula, The Mummy, and the Wolf Man. The teaser trailer contains no footage from the actual maze, but presumably the posters glimpsed in the background provide some clue as the the character designs, which seem in line with imagery from the Universal Monsters maze seen during Halloween 2018.

There is one funny thing about Universal’s pitch for the maze: “If you thought one Universal Monster was scary, how about three?” More monsters sounds great, but in fact Universal has featured multiple classic monsters in its Halloween attractions since Universal’s House of Horrors back in 2006, and of course the previously mentioned Universal Monsters maze included Dracula, the Mummy, and the Wolf Man, along with the Frankenstein Monster, the Phantom of the Opera, and the Invisible Man.

This year, Halloween Horror Nights will run on select nights from September  8 through October 31. Tickets are not yet on sale.
