Vampire-Con 2009 Panel Schedule

VAMPIRE-CON 2009 has finalized its schedule of panels for Sunday, August 16 - including one moderated by yours truly, titled "Why We Love Vampires: A Brief History of the Undead." David J. Skal and Del Howison will be among the panelists; both of them appeared with me on a similar panel after a performance of Courting Vampires a couple months ago, so this will be a mini-reunion of sorts. I promise to try to make the new panel as fresh as possible, not just a rehash of what we said before, so don't be afraid to come again if you already saw us do our shtick.

The convention kicks off with two days of vampire movie screenings at the New Beverly Cinema on Friday and Saturday, before moving to the Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theatre on Sunday. The panels will be held during the morning and afternoon, followed by the Vampirella's Ball that evening. Doors will be open for the daytime portion of the convention from 10:30am until 4:30pm. Vampirella's Ball (which is 18-and-over) runs from 8:30pm to 1:00am.
