The Aero Theatre is the second home of the American Cinematheque (the other being the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood). Every week the theatre screens classic movies and art house favorite, along with newer films not in wide release. The Cinematheque screens half of its annual fantasy film festival here in August. The Aero is also home of the Cinematheque's all-night Halloween Horrorthon.
