Along with classic paintings, sculptures, etc., the Los Angeles County Museum of Art occasionally offers exhibitions of interest to fans of horror, fantasy, and science fiction, such as "Masterworks of Expressionist Cinema: Caligari and Metropolis" and "Guillermo Del Toro: At Home with Monsters." LACMA regularly screens films, including horror classics during the Halloween season in October.

LACMA Tuesday Matinees: Psycho

As part of its Tuesday Matinees series, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art screens Psycho (1960), Alfred Hitchcock's horror classic, starring Janet Leigh and Anthony Perkins. 109 minutes, 35mm. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock; screenplay by Joseph Stefano, based on the novel by Robert Bloch. Screening takes place in the Bing Theater. Tickets are $2 for LACMA members, seniors (65+), and children (17 & under); $4 for the general public.
