Paramount Pictures is a Hollywood Studio dating back to the early days of the film industry - the fifth oldest studio still in existence. The company has produced such horror, fantasy, and science fiction films as the The Addams Family, the Friday the 13th franchise and the Star Trek features; Paramount also distributed Alfred Hitchcock's class, Psycho (1960). The current studio lot includes stages that once belonged to RKO, where King Kong (1933) was filmed.
Paramount offers studio tours. During the months of September, October, and November, there is a nighttime Halloween-themed version of the tour, Paramount Pictures After Dark Tour: Tales from the Other Side, which includes a walk through the adjacent Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
