Located in a quiet neighborhood around the corner from some cool coffee houses, SugarMynt is a reconverted house that serves quite nicely as a small gallery. SugarMynt is next door to the house seen in the opening of John Carpenter's Halloween (1978). Appropriately enough, the gallery holds an annual Halloween-themed exhibition in September and October, Welcome to Haddonfield, which features art related to and inspired by the film franchise, the holiday, and horror movies in general.
SugarMynt is conveniently near the South Pasadena stop of the Metro Gold Line. There is no lot, but street parking is easy to find.
