The Hollywood Museum

Dates & Hours: 10am to 5pm on Wednesday through Sunday, year-round.
The Hollywood Museum houses movie posters, props, and costumes, including a ghoulish year-round display in the basement, known as the Dungeon of Doom, which features memorabilia from horror movies, such as the set of Hannibal Lecter's prison cell from Silence of the Lambs. The upper levels of the Hollywood Museum frequently showcase exhibits devoted to Fantasy Films, Horror Movies, and Science Fiction Cinema. Exhibits have included Elvira, Mistress of the Dark; Harry Potter; Batman '66; 20th Century Superhero Legends; 30 Years of Makeup, Monsters, and Magic, among others.
During the October season, the Hollywood Museum re-brands the Dungeon of Doom as a Halloween event titled "Monsters, Mummies and Mayhem," sometimes adding a live element to enhance the static displays.
