Video: Backwoods Maze 2015

Hollywood Gothique has always been impressed by the geometric pandemonium of The Backwoods Maze yard haunt - of the density and intensity of scares squeezed into the myriad twists and turns of the impossibly lengthy backyard walk-through - but this Halloween our disoriented senses finally cleared enough to appreciate just how incredibly insane the production values are. The backwoods feel of a few years ago was convincing, but now they're doing a post-apocalyptic future with control rooms and facilities housing robots and cyborgs, and it all looks great!

Seriously, if we edited this video with an establishing shot of the Knotts Berry Farm Halloween Haunt, you would totally believe that this was one of their haunted house attractions.
