Eeek! G-G-G- Ghosts! is one of three Dearly Departed Tours that Halloween fright fans my find of interested this October; the other two are Bridget’s Haunted Hollywood Tour and the Horror Film Location Tour.

Dearly Departed operates year round, offering its signature Tragical History Tour, along with several others – often, though not exclusively, dealing with ghoulish subject matter.

The Eeek! G-G-G- Ghost Tour began this summer. Guide “RIP the Undertaker” relates tragic tales while leading tourists through Horrific Haunting Grounds, Creepy Crime Scenes and Foreboding Famous Landmarks. The Walking Tour lasts about 2 Hours and covers a 1-mile trail. Each mourner is provided with an individual wireless receiver and headphones so no one will miss a single word. You are asked to dress in black to mourn the dead.

Those who arrive early may peruse Dearly Departed’s museum of deathly artifacts, including a piece of the first Hollywood Sign and an original costume from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Dates during the Halloween season are October 9-10, 15-17, 23-24, 29-31; November 1, 6-7, 14-15, 20-21. All tours begin at 7pm in Central Hollywood; the exact location is revealed when you purchase tickets, which cost $30. The official website’s listing for the event is here.
