War of the Worlds & The Lost World at Skirball Center

L.A. Theatre Works is currently performing a double bill of two science fiction radio dramas based on classic literature, which will be recorded for later broadcast on Satellite and Public radio. WAR OF THE WOLRDS is the old Orson Welles adaptation of the H.G. Wells novel about a Martian invasion of Earth. THE LOST WORLD is a recent adaptation by Howard Koch, John de Lancie and Nat Segaloff of the Arthur Conan Doyle novel about a trip to a mysterious jungle plateau where dinosaurs still live.

NOTE: Leonard Nimoy was scheduled to make a special appearance after the debut performance on May 13.
