Ward 13: Voices in the Dark

There is something disturbing and yet oddly gratifying about hearing a monster in a Halloween haunt call you by name. Like at Ward 13 tonight. It’s almost as if the voices in the dark are really only inside your head. Maybe I’m not visiting Halloween haunts at all; perhaps I shall wake to find myself wrapped in a straight-jacket.
