Description: Here’s an oddball event: a vegan dinner for zombies! Meet new friends and eat brains – well, grains, actually. Urban Dinner Socials invites you to enjoy a four-course vegan zombie feast, held within a private residence decorated with props from The Haunted Vineyard. Arrive early to be zombified by makeup artists; then after dinner lurch your way uptown to Whittier’s annual Zombie Pub Crawl.

Savor such ghoulish delicacies as Frankenfritters, Tortured Hearts of Palm, and Skewered Flesh (of vegetables). Food is locally grown at Whittier Backyard Farms.

Tickets are $30 in advance ($25 until Wednesday, October 17), and $40 at the door.
