Alien 45th anniversary re-release

One of the great science fiction films of all time, Alien (1979) returns to theatres for a brief time, starting on April 26. Directed by Ridley Scott from a screenplay by Dan O’Bannon, the film features the memorable creature designs of H.R. Giger, which helped the film win an Oscar for best special effects. The film turned Sigourney Weaver into a star. Also in the cast are John Hurt, Yaphet Kotto, Harry Dean Stanton, Ian Holm, Veronica Cartwright, and Tom Skerritt. Rated R.
