Grisly Garden opens Institute of Fear

Dangling Carrot Creative, whose Grisly Garden made its debut last Halloween, is back with Grisly Garden: Institute of Fear. The haunted house, based on the premise of a “research facility designed to pinpoint what terrifies you most,” promises a “living nightmare” filled with “decaying halls, terrifying creatures, ghastly experiments, and disturbing phobias.” Those who survive the haunt’s thirteen chambers and four scare zones receive a diploma proving they have graduated from the Institute. (Note: creative force from Beware the Dark Realm is helping out this year, so we expect good things.)

Grisly Garden: Institute of Fear. runs from October 9 through November 2 at 27000 Avenue Rockefeller in Santa Clarita. Hours are 5:30pm to 11pm on Thursdays and Sundays, 5:30pm to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. The final week of October features extended hours:  5:30pm to midnight from October 27 to 30 and 5:30pm to 1am on Halloween Night. Presale ticket prices start at $16 for children (no-scare Trick or Treat version), $20 for children 12 and under (regular show), $30 for adult general admission, and $50 for Fast Pass VIP. Higher prices on peak nights. Get more information here.
