Rooftop Screams Info
The Montalbán presents this annual rooftop festival of Halloween-flavored films every October. Films are digitally projected on a large, high-quality screen, with audio provided through headphones to cancel out noise from traffic on the street below.
Amenities include popcorn, sodas, Umami Burgers, and alcoholic beverages.
There is no ADA access for the rooftop; access to the screening space is via stairs only, no elevator service. No outside food or beverage is allowed.
Screenings are for 18-and-over only.
The Montalbán also includes Fantasy, Horror & Science Fiction titles in its Summer Series.
Rooftop Screams did not take place in 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Montalbán resumed rooftop screenings in August 2021, then announced its Halloween schedule in September.
