Toluca Lake Pumpkin Patch & Trick or Treating

10601 Riverside Drive
North Hollywood, CA 91602

2020 Updates: No news from this location about what they plan to do for Halloween during a pandemic, but they usually run throughout October.

Every year, the Toluca Lake Florist turns into the Toluca Lake Pumpkin Patch during the month of October, offering Halloween cheer in the form of a petting zoo and a brief, simple haunted maze. You will find pumpkins of every size for your Jack O'Lantern needs, along with carving kits.

While parents are shopping for just the right pumpkin, children can play with ducks and goats in the petting zoo or take a walk through the maze, which is mild enough for even young visitors, although the scare factor varies slightly: early in the season, especially during daylight hours, the maze is mostly decorations; on Halloween Night, there may be a few live monsters, too.

Overall, a nice place to bring the kids for a fun but not too fearsome Halloween experience.

Not far from the Toluca Lake Pumpkin Patch, several streets are famous for their neighborhood trick-or-treating, perhaps because many of the residents work at nearby Warner Brothers and Walt Disney Studios and relish the opportunity to show off their yard haunting skills on Halloween Night. Unlike other well-to-do neighborhoods in Los Angeles, this is less of an isolated enclave, so you may actually be able to find parking.
