Haunted Carwash adds new location for Halloween 2024
Good news for Los Angeles Halloween fans in the San Gabriel Valley area: you no longer need drive all the way to South Bay or Orange County in order to get your vehicle cleaned at The Haunted Carwash. Instead, you can take advantage of the new location at Route 66 Car Wash in Duarte.
Haunted Carwash has been around since the 2020 pandemic lockdown, when it launched as Tunnel of Terror, providing fright fans with a Covid-safe way to enjoy live haunt performers and special effects from within their vehicle. Rebranding itself as The Haunted Carwash, it has been operating at Big Wave Car Wash in Lakewood and Carwood Car Wash in Anaheim. The older locations open on the first weekend in October. The new location opens for business on October 18 and runs through October 30.
The Haunted Carwash runs Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with additional days later in the month. Hours are 6pm to 10pm. Tickets start at $30 per vehicle. Check the website for exact dates, which vary by location.
