The holiday spirit is alive and well at The Nocturne Theatre in Glendale this season. Meyer2Meyer Entertainment is bringing back three shows they presented last December: Madame Scrooge, Spirits of the Season, and Reindeer Games.

Madame Scrooge: A Christmas Carol Musical (reviewed here) is an original musical version of A Christmas Carol, which changes Ebenezer Scrooge to Eleanore Scrooge. That may sound like a gimmick, but it works, especially when bolstered by great songs. Running two-hours, the play has performances on select dates from December 5 to 22. Tickets start at $37.50.

Spirits of The Season: Vintage Cocktails and Holiday Jazz is a 21-and-over immersive holiday speakeasy featuring themed lounges where performers Jett LaFever and Stuart Brawley sing jazzy renditions of seasonal classics. The one-hour show runs on select dates from December 6 through 22. Tickets start $20 for reserved seating.

Reindeer Games: Holiday Activities For Kids is offers an hour of games and fun aimed at youngsters 4 – 9, including snowball fights (with plushie snowballs), scavenger hunts, and a chance to meet Santa Claus Tickets are $30 per child (includes one adult admission). The show runs on select afternoon in December from the 8th through the 22nd. General admission tickets are $26 (includes free admission for one adult chaperone; extra chaperone for an additional $5).

The Nocturne Theatre is 324 N. Orange Street in Glendale. Get more information at thenocturnetheatre.com.
