Description: The “Old Town” section of Pasadena presents its annual Halloween celebration, which offers free activities throughout the area on October 27 and 31. Little ghosts, goblins, and witches are invited to trick-or-treat from store to store in Old Pasadena, which will offer free haunted photos, pumpkin decorating, popular costumed characters, and of course the Old Town Haunt.

The fun begins on Saturday, October 27, at One Coloradao Courtyard, with free pumpkin decorating. Families are also encouraged to visit the “lights on” version of Old Town Haunt, which should not be too intense except for the youngest children. Hours: 10:30am to 12:30pm.

On Wednesday, October 31, over 100 area restaurants and stores will supply a variety of candy and confectiosn for all the costumed kiddies, until 8:00pm. The scary lights-out version of Old Town Haunt will remain open until midnight.

PASADENA, CA. (October, 2012) – Come join us for a frightfully good time with spooktacular, free Halloween activities throughout Old Pasadena Saturday, October 27 and Wednesday, October 31. Bring your little ghosts, witches, goblins and critters to Old Pasadena for store-to-store trick-or-treating, free haunted photos, pumpkin decorating, an Old Town Haunted House, and a meet-and-greet with popular Halloween costumed characters.

The celebration begins Saturday, October 27 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the One Colorado Courtyard with free Halloween pumpkin decorating. Kids can unmask their creativity and have some serious Halloween fun by decorating pumpkins (provided) in the Courtyard. The activity is great for little and medium-sized kids alike and children get to take home their creations. Families are also encouraged to visit the Old Town Haunt for their special “lights on” tour, designed just for children from 12pm to 4pm.

IMG_2239On Halloween eve, Wednesday, October 31 bring the family for free store-to-store trick-or-treating. Over 100 area restaurants and stores will supply a variety of candy and confections for all the dressed up little ones in attendance until 8pm. Be on the lookout for Pasadena guides handing out fun little Halloween eggs with unique prizes and festive candy inside. Bring the little ones to the One Colorado Courtyard for free haunted photos by a professional photographer, set against a festive background and hundreds of pumpkins. Throughout the celebration, guests will also enjoy a unique opportunity to meet and greet with various popular Halloween costumed characters.

The spooky fun continues into late Halloween eve as teenagers and adults are invited to visit the Old Town Haunt, Pasadena’s award-winning, and scary haunted house. Descend into the darkness at the basement of the historical Union Savings Bank Building where rumor has it, mysterious occurrences have taken place in the buildings’ deadly 107 year history. Hideous screams and odors of decay have all been reported, and now the building is open to the public for chilling tours into the catacombs where ghosts and goblins meet from 7pm to 12am.

The Old Pasadena Halloween Celebration is presented by Old Pasadena Management and One Colorado in partnership with the Old Town Haunt. All activities are free except the Old Town Haunt which is $17 general admission and $10 for the kid’s matinee.
