Halloween Night is rapidly approach, but let’s not overlook the other big holiday concerned with the dead. Dia De Los Muertos – the Day of the Dead – is traditionally celebrated from October 31 through November 2, coinciding with All Saints’ Eve, All Saints’ Day, and All Souls’ Day. Numerous venues in Los Angeles honor the tradition, including Olvera Street, which is holding Dia De Los Muertos celebrations though November 2nd. Events include a nightly Novenario Procession, community altars, face painting, and live entertainment. Get details at: olveraevents.com/day-of-the-dead-olvera-street.
