Spooky Swap Meet officially kicks off “Halfway-To-Halloween” or Half-O-Ween!   Spooky Swap Meet continues to offer a distinct experience,  providing an opportunity for Halloween fans to shop for specific gifts and goodies not available to the average consumer outside of these events plus more!  New this year, was an extra day of celebration.  The event officially opened Friday evening which allowed guests to see the decorations and theming from a nighttime perspective.  When the lights came on at night, it reminded us of their Cemetery Lane event which allowed to see the mansions all lit up with the appropriate color schemes that bring back the classic Halloween nostalgia feeling.

One of the highlights for us was the old Methodist church which got converted into a paranormal research center display with live actors.  No walk-through inside the church this year unlike last year.  However, the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride did offer mini walk-through in the octagon house, which was a first for them.  Last season, we mentioned that,  Spooky Swap Meet “no longer felt like a Halloween marketplace or themed swap meet; it felt like a festival.”  The same could be said this year as there were more food vendors than ever before and more interactive displays and performances.  Spooky Swap Meet is completely sold out and they tend to sell out ahead of opening night.  Be sure to check their social media and website for future ticketing availability.
