Stir of Echoes 25th anniversary screening with Kevin Bacon
On December 14 at 7pm, the American Cinematheque screens Stir of Echoes in honor of the film’s 25th anniversary. Director-screenwriter David Koepp and actor Kevin Bacon will be in attendance for a question-and-answer session. Co-presented by Beyond Fest, the event takes place at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. Tickets are $17 for members and $22 for general admission. Get more information here.
Based on Richard Matheson’s novel of the same name, Stir of Echoes was overshadowed at the time of its release by M. Night Shyamalan’s The Sixth Sense, but it stands on its own as an effective paranormal thriller in its own right, worth seeing on the big screen.
