The Ragin’ Rockin’ Creature Show revisited

Thinking of Universal Studios Hollywood, as we have been in light of the extinction of their Jurassic Park Ride today, we decided to look back through the archives and ran across the series of videos and articles we posted when The Creature from the Black Lagoon: A Raging, Rockin’ Show made its debut at the theme park. The show was not a big hit, and it has long since sunk back neath the murky dark waters of the titular lagoon. Nevertheless, we enjoyed it, and we hope our coverage acts as a time capsule of this mostly forgotten effort.

Hollywood Gothique’s website has updated several times since 2009, changing the method for displaying videos, with the result that many of our old posts were blank. That problem has been fixed, but the benefit of readers who prefer not to search back through nine years or archives, we’re posting the entire video playlist here.
