This Halloween, hop on board the Sunset Strip Afterlife Transfer Trolley

Afterlife Trolley

If you’re like us, you’re still mourning the late, lamented West Hollywood Haunted Pub Crawl, which took adult trick-or-treaters on a spooky tour of late-night hot spots on the Sunset Strip. Well, it’s time to stop mourning, because life goes on – or, in this case, The Afterlife Transfer Trolley, a new event that covers much of the same territory with the added advantage of free trolley service.

The Afterlife Transfer Trolley promises an immersive, hearse-like experience along the length of the Sunset Strip, where many nightclubs are supposedly haunted by the ghosts of mobsters rubbed out on the premises. In between stops, riders will interact with costumed characters recounting their final moments on Earth. Passengers can also take advantage of a photo op with a pair of skeletal passengers.

The route includes 12 stops where riders can hop off and visit local establishments offering Halloween-themed food and beverages such as Vampire Blood Shots and Espresso Graveyards. Participating venues include The Den, Bar Next Door, Mel’s Drive In, and Boa Steakhouse (not Pink Tacko, unfortunately, which recently closed its doors forever). Other venues offer special events on specific dates, such as Fright Night in the Skybar at Mondrian LA on Saturday, October 26 and Wicked Witches Afternoon Tea at The London West Hollywood on Saturdays and Sundays, starting in mid-October.

The Afterlife Transfer Trolley runs all night long on October 26-27, 31, and November 1. For more information, including an updated list of participating venues, click here.
